Wong Kar Wai’s Ashes of Time Redux screening, Hollywood, CA, October 7, 2008

Wong Kar Wai became popular among American audiences with his 1994 film "Chungking Express" that was heavily touted by the then unstoppable wunderkind Quentin Tarantino. Kar Wai is more well-known for his recent films "In The Mood for Love" (2000), "2046" (2004), and "My Blueberry Nights" (2007), which featured Norah Jones in the lead role (unfortunately).

Flux curates a weekly cinema series in Hollywood, and Wong Kar Wai's latest film Ashes of Time Redux (which is a reissue of his 1994 film, Ashes of Time) will be screened Tuesday, October 7th at The Montalban at 1615 Vine Street. Go here to get signed up on their mailing list and to RSVP to Cinema Tuesdays screenings.
